Dmitry Muratov chief-editor of newspaper Novaya Gazeta attacked

Subhajit Makhal: Dmitry Muratov a Russian journalist winner of Nobel Peace Prize was attacked while he was travelling on a train. Images showed red paint on his head and even on his clothes. His compartment was full of acetone.

The incident happened when he was travelling on a Moscow-Samara train. Novaya Gazeta an investigative newspaper declared that it has stopped all it’s print and online activities until Russia stops it’s aggression in Ukraine. The attacker reported posted saying “Muratov, this is for you from our boys”.
