Agra: A man died with extreme burns on Thursday (March 25) after a lady threw acid at him.
The girl, 25 years outdated was in a relationship with the man, 28 years outdated. The girl allegedly threw acid on him in a match of rage as he was getting married to another person.
Police officers stated that “The woman, Sonam Pandey, was angry with Devendra Kumar since his marriage had been fixed with some other girl.”
Sonam Pandey, a nurse at a non-public hospital in Agra, and Devendra Kumar, an assistant at a pathology lab, knew one another for a very long time and have been in a relationship, Police stated.
But she was offended with Devendra as he was going to marry one other individual, the police added.
On Thursday (March 24), the lady requested the man to come back to her place on the pretext of fixing a fan, Agra Superintendent of Police (SP) Rohan Botre stated.
As Devendra arrived at her home, she attacked him with acid, he added.
The man was admitted to a hospital in Sikandra with burn accidents the place he died, the SP stated, including that the lady was arrested.
He stated the accused additionally suffered burns and was present process therapy on the hospital.
