New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly resumed work on his upcoming projects. On Thursday, the ‘Padmaavat’ actor was snapped by the paparazzi while he headed for work in Mumbai. A bike brushed past Singh’s car while he was on his way to work. The ‘Gully Boy’ star got off his car to inspect the damage. Fortunately, it was a minor accident and Ranveer returned after taking stock of the situation.
The shutterbugs captured the incident on their cameras and they followed the ‘Simmba’ actor to a building where he greeted them with a wave. Ranveer, who was spotted in a black tee, sweatshirt and shorts, waved at the paps to assure them that all is well.
On the professional front, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83’. The sports drama was slated to hit the silver screens in April 2020; however, the makers decided to postpone the release date due to COVID-19 crisis. Ranveer is playing the role of former Indian Cricket captain Kapil Dev in the movie.
The movie is based on India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup Victory. Deepika Padukone, who is one of the producers of the film, will be seen playing Ranveer’s on-screen wife in ’83’. The much-awaited flick also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles.
Ranveer, who is known for his power-packed performances, also has ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ in his kitty. The film will mark the Bollywood debut of Shalini Pandey, who is fondly known for her role in ‘Arjun Reddy’.
